Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 Didn't Merrifield get a hit off Duran yesterday? What a bad sub here
Captain_Obvious Verified Member Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 Damnit Chapman, back to being dog s*** Few batters in league would have done anything against those pitches.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 Might have a new manager but this team still makes a lot of stupid decisions...
Ehjays Verified Member Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 Holy s*** Ross Atkins was so happy to get a guy we can have subbed out for Tapia
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 Might have a new manager but this team still makes a lot of stupid decisions... So who's really making the calls
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 So who's really making the calls Its clearly Shatkins who have all these decisions made before the games start. The puppet manager just carries out their preexisting plan and reads off spreadsheets. Its always been clear as day ever since our playoff series against Tampa in 2020. 0 feel for the game...
Dagagad Verified Member Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 Man, if you can’t strike people out you can’t walk people.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 Faaaack who's pitching against us tomorrow? We need the split, bigly. Hmm... Archer, kick his goddamned teeth in.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 Espy? That's interference. Apparently not
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2022 Author Posted August 7, 2022 The ship is sinking.....play for your contracts.

Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 lol this team just refuses to get on a sustained run this season. Win some, lose some, win a lot, lose a lot..... Going to be a dog fight for a wild card spot until the end I guess.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2022 Author Posted August 7, 2022 Okay...Gausman for the split then lets get the fvck out of the twin cities.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 Okay...Gausman for the split then lets get the fvck out of the twin cities. Sounds good to me
max silver Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 The Twins seem to have the Jays number this season, hopefully we don't end up playing them in the playoffs as their pen is largely murder against the Jays mostly right handed lineup. Bundy should have been lit up based on the stuff he was featuring today, he's likely very lucky it was pouring rain early in the game as that might have saved him from allowing a bushel load of runs. White was decent in his first start, if Gurriel hadn't lost the ball in the lights he only would have allowed 2 runs over 5 innings of work, that will work just fine for a swing man/back end of the rotation starter spot. The Mayza injury was pretty scary, only saving grace is that it's not his pitching shoulder. Hopefully he'll be able to come back at some point this season. I'm only guessing but that looks like some sort of shoulder separation. Maybe this means Matt Gage gets a longer look out of the pen, although Saucedo has been throwing well in AAA also.

Yes, it was indeed a dislocated shoulder.
