Vladdy is having a terrible year for barrelling up the ball, hence his launch angle is s***. 2021 he was top ten in barrel % most of the year. This year he barely cracking the top 50! As I said, he has to get his s*** together.

Edit: 36th in Barrel% this year. Last year he was 15th. Once he gets it going this should normalize quicker imo

Agreed. Apparently he has tried at different times and it hasn't worked well so he sticks with the line drive approach. At 23 still plenty of time to work on it hopefully. Maybe next season he starts out with that mindset and it works
