Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Why the f*** is Springer DH? Kirk can’t do it so we don’t see Zimmer. Ugh.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Tapia already has 119 PA this year lol.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Why the f*** is Springer DH? Kirk can’t do it so we don’t see Zimmer. Ugh. Won't make a difference until they start hitting as a team. Most likely with Ryu pitching they wanted speed in the OF anyways
JuniorFelix54 Verified Member Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Another monster 1st inning, this is sickening at this point
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Another monster 1st inning, this is sickening at this point Definitely was some positives in the first inning. Let's see if that translates to better offense in the game
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Nice! Chapman realized he was throwing first pitch fastball and swung at it! He's getting the contact!
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Shocked If they cash either one in.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Annnd back to being the worst with RISP
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Danny had the right approach/mindset though; he got the pitch to hit and 101 EV, shrugs - just bad swing to not able to get a good launch angle on it
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Can't hit and now he can't catch... what a winner that zimmer
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Wtf was that Zimmer; got so lucky it was a GRD lol
JuniorFelix54 Verified Member Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Definitely was some positives in the first inning. Let's see if that translates to better offense in the game Such as? They went down 1-2-3, and like 95 % of the time with 2 runners in scoring position they didn't get anything in the 2nd inning. I can't get over what I saw on opening day compared to what this team has become over the past month at the plate, they've literally gone from the best offense in baseball to one of the worst. At what point does the hitting coach take a fall for this? I'm sure it's not his fault they can't hit anymore but he's surely not doing anything to fix it
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Dude, Zimmer, why is he still here - it is so baffling, what do they see in this guy to keep giving ABs at MLB level
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Lmao zimmerman How in gods name does a player batting .073 still have a spot on a MLB team.
BuckHenry Verified Member Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 This s*** is getting so predictable .

I don't follow the Jay's minor leagues, but I can only assume they have one of the worst triple AAA teams if they have no one there better than Zimmer to bring up to replace him. Katoh was up for a few games, if he's the best they have down there they're in trouble.
JuniorFelix54 Verified Member Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Through 11 batters, only 2 swings at pitches out of the zone Springer and Bo just went down on strikes like impotent fools regardless. And for all that they've got a whopping zero runs through 3 like usual.
