I'm trying to resist the urge to drop Will Smith for Kirk because he's supposed to be the 2nd or 3rd best hitting catcher in MLB but we're two months in and he's sucked and it's getting really old. Would you do it?

Actually in Yahoo money league, trades are very rare. Hasn’t been a single trade yet in my league. There’s no such thing as someone not setting lineups. Very competitive but people keep it close to the vest I guess. There is usually one or two guys they will send out bad trade offers; sniffing around. The Norths’ of the world

I think he tried once many years ago (BBDL maybe?) and quickly got in fights over trivial issues and ragequit the league. So it went exactly as expected.

I won the BBDL league for 2 consecutive years and quit over mid season rule changes that I perceived as cheating. Spanky took over the third year and made the playoffs. I'm not sure how the team did after that.

 

I never participated in LOD, but I did make an awful lot of trades, connorp. I am out of cell service too often in the summer to play fantasy baseball anymore, unfortunately.

No interest in Smith pretty much every team has someone outperforming him already at C. I pulled the trigger on it today after another 0 for from Smith last night and Kirk is 2 for 2 with a HR today I love it!

In Fantrax how do you know if your league has anonymous vetos or not?

 

The commissioner is the real life boss of about half of this 14 team league I'm in and he pulls off some real doozies, partially because he's the boss and he pressure people into his trades. I'm trying to rally a veto against his latest one but some guys don't want to veto it only because he's such a ******** and they work for him. I looked it up on Fantrax and found how a commissioner can toggle anonymous objections on/off but I can't tell what the setting is in this league.

 

Is there a way to tell? Thanks!

Streaming on a Tuesday is perfectly understandable considering the dynamics of the matchup and the standings. Don’t know if it’s be wise if you were the clear favorite

I'm going up against one of the top teams in H2H but my team is good too. I'm off to a hot start with Alcantara and Wood (we'll see how he does) throwing tonight.

Bro, if a streamer was a great bet they’d prob be rostered lol. Kooch solid #5 SP (with upside unlike a Roark) going against an ok offense. As worthy as any other option I’d bet. Not playing it safe though

It's a 14 team pitching heavy league so most teams roster 9 or 10 SPs. Kikiuchi just got dropped and will get picked up at some point but rather than rostering guys like him I've been having better luck streaming a couple of times a week instead while I only have 7 healthy SPs. I'll think about it but I think you are right about Kooch being as good as any other streamer this week. I'm outgunned on the arms as the other side just has more healthy starters than me so I'm leaning toward streaming Kooch but I'll let you know. Thanks for the advice and talking out with me!
