Biggio 2 for 2?

Nice

Hopefully he's healthy

Yeah, it would be very nice if we could get a decent contribution from Biggio this season. He's got it in him to be a solid regular.

Grich w/ the slam. Love that!

Maybe this will finally be the year he puts it al.... hahahahaha sorry, couldn't finish that.

Regular .750 OPS and solid defense Grichuk will do just fine in my opinion.

"Wouldn't be good for the game if you see bounced pitches called strikes"

I mean, if they cross plate in the zone, that would be GREAT for the game.

I may have been too negative about Randy. Looking at his stats page, the .266 BABIP in 2019 and 2021 stands out, against his .290 career BABIP. So maybe he's normally an average hitter or slightly above.

I didn't say "bounces BEFORE the plate". If it crosses the plate in the zone, then bounces that's a strike, even if the "optics" of a wicked breaking ball in the dirt is "bad". That's what Siddal was talking about, I assume.

Matt Chapman left the game with a laceration to his left forearm. No stitches required #bluejays

Ah ok and that I totally agree with

As long as Thornton is on the Blue Jays, the Jays are in need of more pitching. Just saying...

Agreed.

I've seen enough of Thornton to conclude that a championship calibre team shouldn't have him on their staff

Was nice to see Biggio back at his rightful place at the keystone and starting his spring off with a couple base knocks, a walk and stolen base. Biggio's (hopefully healthy) and Back Baby!

What are the chances RG keeps the even year trend going and posts an .800 OPS lol

I want to see him on this team, unless the Jays sign Conforto, here's to hoping he has a better year. *Gardner can f*** off*

Non zero. But like, barely.

I suspect he'll be a fine 4th OF as usual. He'll run into a few key bombs, and Buck will be thrilled when he gets 81 RBIs again, but we'll be happy when he's not in the lineup.

He's OK as is

Would prefer a cheaper left hand hitting 4th OF to replace him next year

2 K's in a row on the nasty change is nice to see, but Berrios hasn't looked that great through the 1st two starts.
