Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Captain Kirk!!! What the f*** just happened???
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 So if the ball is batted on the ground behind home plate and rolls ahead it's still a fair ball? Did not know that.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Get it out of your system now Berrios
Ryu In My House Verified Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Do you all think Greg Bird has a chance to stick? He's intriguing all right. Might be a good lefty DH and backup 1B. I would rather carry him than Reese as the 3rd catcher. He seems to be getting lots of looks, anyway.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Holy s***, Espinal! What a frozen rope.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 That right there was a missile!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 El Capitan looks great at the plate.

With the 28 man roster in April, there's a good chance he'll make the team (assuming they want to make the 40 man roster move). It'll at least give the brass a month to watch him.

I don't even know who you'd pinch hit him for in this lineup other than Jansen Can he play OF at all?? Edited March 23, 2022 by G-Snarls

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Get it out of your system now Berrios Pitchers like Berrios don't care about ST results. Just want to get the reps in. He's probably working on some things, and doesn't care if he gets hit.

Says his body feels great and believes he’ll be good for 85ish pitches on opening day. #Bluejays. Mike Wilner @Wilnerness Berríos added that he told Santiago Espinal that he wanted today to be more of a practice day, but #Phillies started Schwarber/Segura/Harper/Realmuto/Hoskins/Gregorius/Bohm. “Those guys, they’re gonna try to kill us” #Bluejays
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Lol. Nice call, ump. Umps also not in mid season form
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Umps also not in mid season form I believe that is mid season form. We just don't have instant replay to call on yet.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Again, Orelvis looks ready. Wow!
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Yeah, I don't want to trade Orelvis or Gabby, hold onto them please.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 What did Elvis do today? To the moon

jerb Verified Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Jayson Stark @jaysonst I don't like to overreact to early spring training looks, but Blue Jays phenom Orelvis Martinez: Wow. Just fired his second rocket HR in 8 spring ABs. Took BP the other day with Vlad & Bo Bichette - "and the sound off the bat sounded just like those guys," said Charlie Montoya
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Keep keep keep We have to pay Bo and Vlad real money eventually, having cheap young talent will help immensely Yes. No rush to move these guys for Ramirez Can fix 2B if needed with a cheaper stop gap in the summer.
BCZ Verified Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 I hope Kirk monster is going to get every day ABs
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 I hope Kirk monster is going to get every day ABs With expanded rosters in April i think it's pretty much guaranteed he will be - unless Morontoyo does what he does best and make dumb lineup decisions.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
