Jaysareus Verified Member Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 They give hatch the same pitch he hit a grand slam with how stupid
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 Sox: 19-11 Jays: 6-11 Their pen.... our pen.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 Their pen.... our pen. Also... lotta luck
InvincibleTiger Verified Member Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 Does Hatch only throw the FB? He doesn't have any other decent offering?
bronson44 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 this is starting to feel familiar
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 Does Hatch only throw the FB? He doesn't have any other decent offering? Change up and slider/cutter
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 this is starting to feel familiar oh well at least the Red Sox are kind enough to use "the system" in the second and end the game early. I assume they'll get 7 and that will be that. Yesterday they didn't start the system until the 8th. Yanks had a no hitter, 4-0 lead and the Sox decided to use the system. Boom 5-4. We won't have that this game, maybe a later game in the series.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 Floodgates about to open why are they throwing a changeup to a hot garbage hitter. Blow him away with your fastball upstairs.
TrueNorth Verified Member Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 Oh boy…different pitcher but same kind of struggles. Once there is a base runner, Jays can’t seem to get any easy outs and a lot of full counts
TrueNorth Verified Member Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 Why can’t the Jays bottom of the order generate runs like the Sox?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 One more, a run saved against would be awesome.
Benito Verified Member Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 Hold that line Hatch. Give your top offence a chance.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 Talk about the game, please! 0-2 on Cordero, takes tough pitches like he knows they are coming ... 1-2 on Chavis, starts taking close pitches he was swinging at earlier in the count
Benito Verified Member Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 Nice. Just 1 run allowed after bases loaded no outs. I'll take that.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 Good job by Hatch there to limit the damage. Lets get some runs going
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 0-2 on Cordero, takes tough pitches like he knows they are coming ... 1-2 on Chavis, starts taking close pitches he was swinging at earlier in the count Knee slapper, buddy!
