gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Slider happy, ignorant sequencing.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 f*** do I miss Jansen. Right... Ughhh...
Scion Verified Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Until this is fixed the blame lies with Atkins. It's one thing to have a bad bullpen, but this is something else entirely.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Well with 0 outs guy on second that run was coming in anyway
M.E. Verified Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 At what point do the leaders on this team start to make noise in Montoya and Shatkins offices to demand additions.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2021 Author Posted June 16, 2021 Well this game tells you it probably wouldn't have made much a difference if Montoyo brought in this gimp instead of Dolis yesterday. Embarrassment of a pen.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Ross Atkins is dropping the ball on this one.
Anybody but Charlie Verified Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Getting attacked on this board because I think our ace was capable of pitching passed 100 pitches. Instead our manager who is bullpen obsessed just cannot resist getting that bullpen in the game as soon as possible. Poor guy thinks we are the Tampa Bay rays. We have a trash bullpen, stop relying on them so much. Force your starter to get a couple extra outs.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Yeah I know there are a ton of injuries, but this pen is one you'd expect to see on the 2019 team. They won't beat good teams consistently like this.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Stanton about to crush a straight fast ball.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Gardner just hit a good pitch. LeMahieu was sitting slider and then wild pitches/tall catcher allows the run
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Maybe we can borrow one of the Yankees pitcher?
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 I absolutely refuse to believe that Carl Edwards Jr. is better than Ty Tice. Not that Tice is good or anything, just that AT BEST it was a lateral move.
ShowtimeBelli Verified Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 On injury, no. On trying out some internal options, yes. I don't understand why they're so hesitant to try internal optiona
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 On injury, no. On trying out some internal options, yes. Crazy to think they haven't called anyone up
BlueJays Verified Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Getting boo'd on your own home game yikes
Anybody but Charlie Verified Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Our ace couldn't face at least Brett Gardner? The number nine hitter lefty on lefty? Our manager is absolutely brain-dead. How many times have we talked about letting your starters go a little longer. f***ing sad man.

Anybody but Charlie Verified Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Why is this Cubs scrub so high in our depth chart suddenly? I don't care if they are injuries. They nearly hit him out right there. He sucks. You're telling me there is no better options anywhere else?
Anybody but Charlie Verified Member Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Are you aware of Ryu's extensive injury history? We are talking about one batter here. At least give him an opportunity. I guarantee you he was ready to go back out there.
