They need to send Bo back to the minors too, shameful plate discipline. Bring up Austin Martin to play third base and move Semien over to SS. Panik at 2B.

 

Also Gurriel needs to go, his obp is awful and so is his defense. Make a trade for Soto, he’s slumping this year so his price should be low. Offer Gurriel + Jansen + Pearson. Probably gets it done.

 

Get rid of charlie and hire John gibbons, he’ll whip these guys into shape.

I don't know how calling out easily the worst player on the team and a bonehead manager is equivalent to your attempted joke. I'm sure going to look like a genius when he is eventually DFA and Charlie is replaced. You are right on one thing, I would take gibbons in a heartbeat.

Biggio had a homer tonight. I'm excited to get that guy that doesn't matter back in the lineup..lol. I'm calling it. Springer is back next Friday. Hopefully Captain Kirk is playing some AAA games in a couple weeks so he is ready to come off the 60 when he's eligible.

Finally win a series against a good team?

 

Jays won a series against Tampa 2-1

They've won all three series against the Yankees 2-1

They swept the Braves twice

They won the series against Cleveland

They beat the Phillies 2-1 in that series

The only reason they didn't take 2 of 3 from Bpston and 3 of 4 from Tampa a couple of weeks ago was because the bullpen fell apart.

 

This whole season so far has been against good teams for the most part.

 

They're doing just fine.
