Nothing against Tim Mayza, I like him, but do you really want him facing JD Martinez and Bogaerts as the tying runs with the handedness advantage? This move was fine especially with the off-day tomorrow, smart to play the matchup there when it doesn't cost you anything and Mayza was already at 20 pitches anyway.

A few times, yes, if he could get to his projections that'd be great.

It sounds crazy but Jansen has a better lifetime WAR then Tellez. With his defense Jansen could be helpful if he can hit .200 (with a little bit of secondary skills)
