Why are you telling me this? I don't find any of this funny.

Another play got ruled a hit that was a clear error, which is what you were talking about there. And since you get your panties in a bunch if anything negative is said about Biggio, thought it would only be fair to quote you.

f*** why can't Biggio or bichette throw to first without it hitting the dirt?!! Smh

Its been a problem for 2 years. Its just been overlooked. Biggio even had problems from 2B I think

Well you can piss off with quoting me, I don't need that nonsense, this defense is pressing and look horrible, I don't find it funny.

That might have been a double play but Jansen is finally taking good hacks out there. Just a matter of time before he sucks less.

Vlad has bailed out numerous errors from the team already. I'm ok if he can't make every scoop.

Bo needs to be better. That's a play a good SS makes in his sleep. Sounds harsh but we're trying to win this year

#1 - a solid defensive first baseman should be expected to 'pick' a very high percentage of throws in the dirt. It's not that hard (source - I've played 1st for like 15 years).

#2 - a lot of VERY good defensive shortstops struggle with errors early in their career. It's common. You're going to have to live with it.

The same excuses you're using for Bo should be used for Vlad. I understand 1B is a much easier position but it's still really new for him. Vlad has been great there so far imo and that's probably more so by comparison to the fiasco we saw last year. (Source - I've also played 1B enough to understand the ability to dig balls out shouldn't be that hard.)

Agreed that Bo can eventually develop into a good SS but that's the tough balance of a team trying to make noise this year vs being in rebuilding mode. At a certain point, we will not accept those types of mistakes but still not there yet.
