Anytime Jansen see’s more than 4 pitches in an at-bat I consider it a win. He has one of the slowest swings I have seen from a major league baseball player. I would love to see a side by side of Bo swing vs a Jansen swing lol.

Sadly we don't even know how good Pearson will be in the bigs. Everything says he will be good but the guy has 0 track record. Not fair to rely on him to be your 2/3 starter but that's the position we're in.

Only a couple of balls even left the infield. He's always going to rely on some degree of BABIP luck, but last start was about what you would expect give or take a seeing eye single.

Bar is so low for starting pitching right now. If we could just get 5 innings of 3 runs allowed I would thrilled. That’s what a 4.5 ERA. Seems pretty manageable.
