Semien has a .350 OBP and has more speed. Right now, Semien is the right player for leadoff. Maybe in a few weeks if Semien cools off and Springer is doing his .360 OBP thing, a switch is made.

It'll be unfortunate the next time Manoah is on the mound and the ump that chucked him is behind the plate. Signs get crossed all the time. It's too bad the catcher was looking for a slider but a high fastball came in that the catcher couldn't get his glove on it. Good thing the umps wear masks.

You have to assume Manoah said something on the field after the fact to make the ump think it was intentional right? Like what other possible explanation is there? There is no other reason to eject and suspend a guy for hitting a nothing player on a nothing tem.

He's been in long term rehab and is most likely medicated to help control it. If the old Charlie comes out, he'll probably lose his job sooner rather than later. I'd pay big money to see the old Charlie come out and go off on an umpire.
