max silver Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 Gleyber Torres has a .310 slugging percentage. It's remarkable how bad the Yankees offence has become seemingly overnight. LeMahieu, Urshela and Hicks have all turned back into pumpkins, youngsters Torres and Frazier have dramatically underperformed compared to expectations, and father time has finally caught up to Brett Gardner. You know you are in trouble offensively when you bring in washed up shitbags like Rougned Odor to play basically every day.

The 2021 Manfred baseball wrecked their offense and the sticky-stuff crackdown ruined their pitching. Praise Manfred!
max silver Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 f*** the Yankees It's nice to see the Yankees luck seems to have finally run out. For far too long they've been sprinking magic pixie dust onto hitters and turning them into great performers. They did this with LeMahieu, Hicks, Urshela and Voit so it's refreshing to see these guys struggling this season.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 I feel bad for Schwarber, dude was unconscious, then tears his hammy, they're calling it significant so I'm assuming 2 months, or surgery.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 I feel bad for Schwarber, dude was unconscious, then tears his hammy, they're calling it significant so I'm assuming 2 months, or surgery. Tragic
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 Tragic I would reserve 'tragic' for him dying.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 Gerrit Cole can't pitch anymore This is pleasant.
Bluebombers Verified Member Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 Chapman era now at 22.24 last nine games,,,,,,,,missing the sticky
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 Once again, another example why pitcher's shouldn't hit... Latest News Jul 4, 4:39 PM EDT EDT Martinez was removed from Sunday's start at Colorado with a bruised right thumb, Zachary Silver of MLB.com reports. Analysis The right-hander suffered the injury during his lone plate appearance and was removed with one out in the fourth inning. Martinez gave up a solo homer and a walk with two strikeouts prior to leaving the contest, and he should be considered day-to-day.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 At least the Yankees are only on the hook for another $294,000,000 They probably have a "if this contract starts to look bad, we can just walk away from it and somehow this is allowed because we're the Yankees and can do whatever the f*** we want" clause in his contract.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 They probably have a "if this contract starts to look bad, we can just walk away from it and somehow this is allowed because we're the Yankees and can do whatever the f*** we want" clause in his contract. There might be a loop hole on cheating. This could get real ugly. RIP @ 22

Yup im 100% expecting it. They did it with the Arod contract and with Elsbury. Definitely gonna be some fishy s*** with Cole if he remains bad.

RIP @ 22 Since when does a positive PED test void an entire contract? Never, so I don’t see why it would be any different with pitching. Yankees better eat that entire contract

Yankees better eat that entire contract Since when do the Yankees not get EXTREME preferential treatment by the MLB?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 Joking aside I'm sure Cole will figure his s*** out eventually and be decent again Just hopefully not for the rest of this year and not as good as before ..
Laika Community Moderator Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 Since when do the Yankees not get EXTREME preferential treatment by the MLB? ??????
Laika Community Moderator Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 Joking aside I'm sure Cole will figure his s*** out eventually and be decent again Just hopefully not for the rest of this year and not as good as before .. He's probably just going to slip back from a 6-7 WAR pitcher to like a 5 WAR pitcher. I mean his numbers are still very good right now and he is on pace for 5+.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 ?????? They've been allowed to weasel out of other bad contracts, and build that travesty of a stadium with illegal dimensions, for example.

Laika Community Moderator Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 What are the others? Fenway The Trop Rogers Centre The Coliseum Coors Minute Maid
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 Fenway The Trop Rogers Centre The Coliseum Coors Minute Maid Also PNC, Petco, Oracle, Dodger stadium, Angel stadium, Camden.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 Fenway The Trop Rogers Centre The Coliseum Coors Minute Maid Im of the opinion Oak Col. gets too much flak. Yes the view sucks since they put the new seats in but the stadium itself isn't much different from Rogers Centre or Dodger Stadium (yeah Dodger Stadium is just as much of a concrete jungle as the other 2)
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 Don't forget Wrigley, Great American Ballpark, Truist Park, Target Field, and Kauffman.
