What the hell were your guys parents doing?

Thats a very long answer I wont bore you with, but suffice it wasn't what they should have been doing. They were all half brothers 2 from my Dad and 1 from my Mother. The Anti-Brady Bunch. It was the 60's and 70's and a very different time. Not to excuse it but it is what it is. Assault someone said? I don't know. Teachers used to actually give us the strap in school back then. Seems bizarre now. My oldest half bro 11 years my senior, had some issues. His mom was tragically killed in car accident when he was 6. Never recovered really. Anyway...back to baseball.

I'm actually feeling a bit better about the s*** my brother did. And of course, I took it out on my little sisters. Corporal punishment was used in the house.

The interesting thing is as using physical violence on kids has declined, so has the incidence of violent crime. Down 50% in the past 20 years or so.

I pulled my hand back once, he hit himself in the nuts, lol.

Dan Shulman is fantastic

He's calling the Sunday night TV game (which I am listening to on the radio as I run back and forth to work) and he knows as much about the Cardinals and Padres as you could ask for and is just as smooth and engaging with his colleague on this as he does with the Jays broadcasts

I just love listening to him

Best in the Biz buddy. We're blessed with him.

Especially since Vin Scully retired. I used to use his soothing voice and stories to fall asleep.

Juan Soto's wRC+ is treading water at the 100 line.

I'd be willing to bet you $100 he finishes the season over 145 wRC+

I have no reason to take this bet.

My brother was/is nuts. He left me clinging to a van in my drawers, he even took my socks, lol.

Brian Snitker is a terrible manager. He habitually uses Logan Webb, Sean Newcomb, and Josh Tomlin in high-leverage situations, with predictable results.

To be fair though there are not much better options. That bullpen is straight trash
