Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 Gave em an out, that was dumb.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 lol... now this is a Rays inning. Not those first two games. Unreal. Yup, now a duck snort double, lol. Houston, you have a problem!!!
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 The Rays are gonna win the World Series, aren't they? Everyone will discount it because of the type of season this has been, but they likely are the best team in the league atm.

There's no way I put an asterisk beside the winner of this world series. The world series is going to be a massive battle for the Rays whether its the Dodgers or the Braves.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 Man... the Rays defensive positioning on all these hard hits cant be all scouting. Gotta be some level of fluke man lol
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 Was Reddick not hustling? That's brutal.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 I can't stand the Astros and I feel a bit for them. The Rays are an incredibly frustrating team to play.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 Rays putting on a clinic on D, lol my god.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 At least Altuve's hitting...

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 Wow... Tommy Pham was stabbed, didn't know that. TIL.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 Astros are toast... but I hate seeing the bat taken out of Altuve's hands, BS! Ruined a good game for me.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 Rays aint even breaking a sweat
Laika Community Moderator Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 The Rays bullpen is amazing and lots of fun. So many different looks. And many of those players they acquired as finished products or mature prospects. So they hunted refined, unique looks. Kind of the opposite approach of Houston. The Astros have a factory that pumps out RHRPs that pair plus rising fastballs with good breaking balls. It's very uniform and maybe a design flaw. Funny how quickly baseball adaptations can fall behind the curve. Also, Ryan Yarbrough is a poor man's Hyun-Jin Ryu.
