connorp Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 Hopefully they work some counts so Chapman isn’t in 3 innings
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 Boontoyo pinch hits Mike Ford (36 wRC+ this season) for his catcher instead of Frazier, which means Gary Sanchez (who has trouble behind the plate) has to come into the game at catcher with Chapman on the mound. Charlie has a tear in his eye right now.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Author Posted October 10, 2020 lol... Wow! Holy f***... Brosseau with the frozen rope. Poetic justice for throwing at his head.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 Holyyy s***. Can’t script it better than that
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 Almost got 101 at his head, now hits what could be the series ending HR. That is kind of poetic, even though I'm pulling for the Yanks here.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 Sweet revenge for brasseu after chapman threw at his head
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 That is kind of poetic, even though I'm pulling for the Yanks here. Blasphemy!
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 why in the literal f*** did the yankees pinch hit ford over literally anyone else on the bench
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Author Posted October 10, 2020 Castillo in again, interesting, he sucks in multi innings.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 Part of me wants the Yankees to tie this up and really create an epic game.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Author Posted October 10, 2020 Haha... see ya Bombers! Rooting for Rays to beat the Stros, f*** the Stros.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 Anytime Yankees get eliminated is sweet
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 I haven’t seen a hit by blowing out the glove webbing. Almost saw it there
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 That was the most Rays game ever. At least the Jays weren't on the receiving end this time. Rays are winning the WS.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 Lets go astros, Rays in the WS I sleep.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 Blasphemy! MLB would have gotten great ratings for Yankees/Astros. Story wrote itself. Now they have to hope fans hate the Astros enough to watch the ALCS because they sure as hell won't be watching for the Rays. Sucks.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 Verlander would’ve ass-banged them both of his starts. Rays dodge that bullet
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Author Posted October 10, 2020 That was the most Rays game ever. At least the Jays weren't on the receiving end this time. Rays are winning the WS. So pitch well and hit more HR's, yup.

Oh I don’t debate any of that... ratings stuff.. but I’ll take NY going home all day
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 That was the most Rays game ever. At least the Jays weren't on the receiving end this time. Rays are winning the WS. I hope so, but the Dodgers are ridiculous.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Author Posted October 10, 2020 Oh s***... that's John Axford with Campbell.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 Oh I don’t debate any of that... ratings stuff.. but I’ll take NY going home all day Well, the ultimate ratings matchup would be Astros/Dodgers, and there's still a chance of that happening, but I've already accepted that the Rays are going to ruin it for baseball.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 The entire baseball community rooting for the Rays in the ALCS lol
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 MLB would have gotten great ratings for Yankees/Astros. Story wrote itself. Now they have to hope fans hate the Astros enough to watch the ALCS because they sure as hell won't be watching for the Rays. Sucks. Holy f*** shut the f*** up about ratings. The Yankees and their entitled fanbase can go f*** themselves. The Rays are a loveable underdog going up against the two villains of the league. If no one wants to watch that then who f***ing cares? Having the big market teams winning all the time is f***ing boring. It's what's happening in the NBA and except for the Raptors championship the last few Finals have been boring as f***.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 That was the most Rays game ever. At least the Jays weren't on the receiving end this time. Rays are winning the WS. The Rays used their best relievers in their MLB best bullpen to shut down an offense. This was not even close to the ******** the Jays have dealt with in the past. A Rays Game™ for example, would be the Yankees making stupid fielding errors and the Rays hitting go ahead squibbers that sneak through the infield.
