TheDragon Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 If Loup comes in, we'll have a chance to get some runs back.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Are you saying that from a hindsight perspective or from an analytical/strategic perspective? From a he clearly didn't have it perspective, he was getting rocked and they had a pen arm ready strategic perspective.
Dokken Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Have a game Jano!!! Hopefully he can carry this into next season and become the good all around catcher we thought he could be.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Hopefully he can carry this into next season and become the good all around catcher we thought he could be. He will... I never gave up on him, low BABIP and hits it hard, with a great eye at the dish. Mind you his D dropped dramatically, hope it's just a blip.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 He will... I never gave up on him, low BABIP and hits it hard, with a great eye at the dish. cool he'll make a great back-up to kirk
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Guess Ryu is not always better on 5 days rest.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 cool he'll make a great back-up to kirk Nah, Kirk will back up and DH.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Kevin Cash giving us a glimmer of hope by bringing in Poupy Loupy.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 This is our ace???? People making rash statements here base on one start lmao.. Facebook lvl comments in here.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Biggio horrid two games.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 We need another ace, not convinced that throwing 88 mph you can be number 1 starter, lol.
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Those "Why not now?" commercials did not age well.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 (edited) Those "Why not now?" commercials did not age well. I've had hangovers last longer than our playoff run. It hurts how fast this went by lol. Edited September 30, 2020 by Jays24
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Damn, Grichuk was awful.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I really thought Bieber was an automatic loss and so wasn’t rooting for Jays to win last game
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Bichette hasn't been much better. The entire team, save for LGJ and Jano, it's only two games, but it is what it is... Rays have great pitching.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 The entire team, save for LGJ and Jano, it's only two games, but it is what it is... Rays have great pitching. Only two games, it is what is, great progress with this young core is promising, I'm happy, team could be legit as early as next season dependent on what the do in the offseason.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Better to lose Game 2 like this, or lose nail biter till end? I’d take the latter
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Better to lose Game 2 like this, or lose nail biter till end? I’d take the latter Hnnngghhh...
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Hnnngghhh... Was serious
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 See ya in February boys! Great season, big steps. *golf claps* Funny thing is the Birds hit the ball hard AF yesterday, and the Rays D was good and lucky, dis is beisbol.
TheDragon Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 These games sucked. Not sure why people wanted to play the Rays knowing it would be excruciating?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 These games sucked. Not sure why people wanted to play the Rays knowing it would be excruciating? Because most of their games against the Rays this year were very close/winnable. You can argue that game 1 was winnable.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 These games sucked. Not sure why people wanted to play the Rays knowing it would be excruciating? You're reaching man, not sure how Toronto would do against the Indians staff. Likely not well.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 These games sucked. Not sure why people wanted to play the Rays knowing it would be excruciating? I dont think it would matter, it's the playoffs its going to be anyway. Game 1 was winnable, but it's a young team.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Because most of their games against the Rays this year were very close/winnable. You can argue that game 1 was winnable. Rays just showed us how much better they are when it counts. Jays will get there eventually.
