Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Nice job Gurriel, thought that was gonna be a garbage bloop to tie the game
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 We are DHing Villar why lol.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 We are DHing Villar why lol. Meh, he's a brutal fielder and an average hitter. If you're going to start the same lineup might as well boost the defense on account of not having him out there.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 God damn deGrom's stuff is filthy. The slider inside to left handed batters is unhittable.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 We are DHing Villar why lol. How often to guys single off the wall?? I assume the big guys do it a 2-5 times a year but is Vladdy's rate historical?? I want to say he at least 5 last year and 3 this year, but I don't know for sure.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 If the Jays have a shutout in them, this is the game to do it.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Might have to win 1-0 to beat deGrom tonight

DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 There is the patented Anderson Home Run.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 I was expecting an L tonight anyway with degrom pitching, so not a big deal if we lose this one (try to win the next 2), but I really hope Shatkins is done chasing the Roark’s and Anderson’s of the world. Aim higher.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 He probably thought he was out (which he would of been if it was 1 foot shorter) or it was a homer (which it would of been if it was 1 foot farther) Can you really blame him for not being able to sense he hit the ball 356 feet, instead of 358 or 354?? I blame him for not running and then adjusting his pace once it was determined what the outcome of the hit was.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Go upstairs for like 15 minutes, come back and see that Anderson has given up 3 runs and still 0 outs. Awesome
bronson44 Verified Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 The changeup is useless
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Anderson and Roark both better not make playoff starts. The fact that we are going to make the playoffs with this team is hilarious to me.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 It's batting practice.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 The changeup is useless I wish his fastball was as hard as DeGrom's changeup.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Some nightmare swings from Alonso.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Thanks to the umpire for that free out. Felt bad for Chase Anderson.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 This is a playoff team? No. No chance they beat anyone
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 This is a playoff team? In a 162 game season? Prob not but they are young , will be soon.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 DeGrow is pure nasty.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 DeGrow is pure nasty. If he was a Blue Jay I'd sure be DeGrowing in my pants.
