saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Guerrero did not look good in that K Vlad's K rates are still very good. It just seems he gets in a funk and strikes out a ton for 3 or 4 games and then he goes on a tear and won't strike out for a week.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 He is almost identical to Biggio hitting. So yes huge loss Yeah, actually... Weird... Their Augusts were pretty similar (by wRC+), Biggio had a better July, Vladdy's had a better September so far.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Can we take font out please, hes unusable in even a 5 run game. Guys gonna make it become a 1 run game soon.
el duque Verified Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 I don't know how Font is so disappointing with the stuff he has, but he's so disappointing. To start he should not throw wp with runners on 1st and 2nd
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 OK....can we bring in Hatch.
43211234 Verified Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Font is likely getting DFA'd when Giles comes back.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Did Chuckles forget that Merryweather exists? There was no need for Font to pitch a second inning there.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Single Single Walk Bases loaded Sac fly Walk If this is the leash all our BP arms get, we are in trouble.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Font needs a dfa already, ffs
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Jesus Christ, even a 5 run lead doesn't feel safe rn
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 We got Giles, Romano and Pearson coming back. Wonder who else aside from Font will get DFA'd or sent down to make room.

DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 That was nasty from Hatch.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 We got Giles, Romano and Pearson coming back. Wonder who else aside from Font will get DFA'd or sent down to make room. I don’t think Romano is close is he?
goldbug103 Verified Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 He is almost identical to Biggio hitting. So yes huge loss[/quote Biggio provides defensive and base running value. Fatty provides none of either and his bat is below average for a DH/1B. Well at least he makes league minimum. In reality, IÂ’d force him to improve his conditioning, giving him spot starts at 3rd to develop positional flexibility and extract better value.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Font owes hatch supper tonight
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Thomas Hatch <3 <3 <3
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Did Chuckles forget that Merryweather exists? There was no need for Font to pitch a second inning there. Charlie is just a nice guy and wants to give his worst players a chance to succeed. Doesn't matter that there is no data to back up his decisions.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Hatch was such an amazing trade return, mad kudos to the scouting department for identifying him as a target.

He is on pace to hit 25 homers over a 162 game season as a 21 year old. If you want to whine about a 21 year old learning a new position by all means you can, its just a hilariously bad take
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
