Guerrero did not look good in that K

Vlad's K rates are still very good. It just seems he gets in a funk and strikes out a ton for 3 or 4 games and then he goes on a tear and won't strike out for a week.

He is almost identical to Biggio hitting. So yes huge loss

Yeah, actually... Weird... Their Augusts were pretty similar (by wRC+), Biggio had a better July, Vladdy's had a better September so far.

I don't know how Font is so disappointing with the stuff he has, but he's so disappointing.

To start he should not throw wp with runners on 1st and 2nd

If this is the leash all our BP arms get, we are in trouble.

It's okay, he makes up for it by pulling starters the second they allow 2 baserunners in the same inning.

We got Giles, Romano and Pearson coming back. Wonder who else aside from Font will get DFA'd or sent down to make room.

I don’t think Romano is close is he?

Biggio provides defensive and base running value. Fatty provides none of either and his bat is below average for a DH/1B. Well at least he makes league minimum.

In reality, IÂ’d force him to improve his conditioning, giving him spot starts at 3rd to develop positional flexibility and extract better value.

Did Chuckles forget that Merryweather exists? There was no need for Font to pitch a second inning there.

Charlie is just a nice guy and wants to give his worst players a chance to succeed. Doesn't matter that there is no data to back up his decisions.

They won't do it, but love it if it was Roark.

He is on pace to hit 25 homers over a 162 game season as a 21 year old. If you want to whine about a 21 year old learning a new position by all means you can, its just a hilariously bad take
