glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 This was the most Roark start ever. Looked bad, but 5 IP/3 ER. Team still in the game. That's what he does. He won't be great, but he'll somehow get through 5 innings most starts.
M.E. Verified Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Happy to be done with Rays after this game. Why did they get 7 home games and Jays got 3. Are there other AL east teams where we get 7 and they get 3? Answered my own question. Thank you internet. Jays get 7 at home for Yanks and O’s
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Answered my own question. Thank you internet. Jays get 7 at home for Yanks and O’s I would have gladly gave the Orioles 7 home dates instead. Even the Yankees. Anything that didn’t curse us to this ballpark.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Sweet, another 1 run game. Just keep it here boys, this is how we want to lose it!
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Just like that we're back in the game!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Gurriel's really been heating up since the Orioles series.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 I honestly thought he hit that harder but that elite launch angle. Ball was crushed though.
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 I honestly thought he hit that harder but that elite launch angle. Ball was crushed though. Surprised it didn't hit the catwalk. Looked like a moonshot!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 I swear we've seen Ryan Thompson in every single game against the Rays. It's not like he's good either, he must be Cash's own Sam Gaviglio.
baubau Verified Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Man Shaw is slow. I know he big, but still!
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Shaw is so excruciatingly slow.
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 f***, was Shaw even running on that?? DFA his ass.
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Shaw running is painful to watch.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Gurriel's really been heating up since the Orioles series. Good hitting there. Got his hands on top just enough of that high pitch. Back in this one.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Thatch should just finish this game and get himself prepared to start. I’m assuming it’s going to be Yamaguchi and Kay though.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Thomas Hatch in Roark grinds. Have we had a SP get through 6 yet? Don’t think so.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Finally we got Wendle. I find Wendle extremely annoying. He's so hard to get out!
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Roark grinds. Have we had a SP get through 6 yet? Don’t think so. Shoemaker on Opening Night. I believe Ryu has done it once as well.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Espinal is fun to watch in the field.
Laika Community Moderator Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Roark grinds. Have we had a SP get through 6 yet? Don’t think so. Tanner Roark aka Grindr.
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Espinal holding down the fort at SS.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 200 IQ move by Hatch to drill Kiermaier right in the foot and take away/diminish his best attribute. When there's an important hit ball in the outfield next inning and Kiermaier isn't able to catch up to it, you can thank Hatch for that.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Is Grich not calling for that, or is Teo deaf?

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 You just hope Hernandez can figure it out defensively because hes way to quick and athletic to be a DH. Its crazy to me that he actually looked way better in CF last year than he has in the corners at any point of his career.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Edgar Garcia should be batting practice
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
