Yolmer Sanchez was released by the Giants. Not a huge upgrade but better than Drury and Panik IMO. Maybe just grasping at straws hah. Drury and Panik just need to go

Yeah if Panik is playing against a LHP instead Drury, then there's no point having either one on the roster. I hope Atkins is actually trying to upgrade this part of the roster, and isn't content with those two clogging up roster spots. I don't care if Drury is released and becomes Urshela 2.0. It won't happen here, so who cares?

If they lose today that would make them 21-19 going into the tough stretch with 17 games in like 18 days including 10 against the Yankees.

Even going 7-10 in that stretch would still leave them with a good shot at .500.

But a sub-.500 team could very realistically get the 8th playoff spot this year.
