Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 If Bichette doesnt hit another homer I say we trade him
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Love what I'm seeing from these guys lately.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 The pitching staff is good. If offense wakes up the league is f***ed.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Bichette is on fire Pfft....only a blooping single. This guy sucks
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 If the bats are breaking out, then it’s about damn time. Bo is a legit star.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 I thought Alvarado was just having a bad game, then I looked at his fangraphs page. f***ing yikes, how this guy got high leverage situations is beyond me.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Pfft....only a blooping single. This guy sucks Unacceptable. Trade for Mike Trout.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 I hope Alvarado legit doesnt kill someone some day
43211234 Verified Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Suddenly Biggio's at a 113 wRC+ on a .190 BABIP.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Teoscar is on a power tear. He is destroying baseballs.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 I will eat crow on my preseason Teoscar prediction.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 2017 Teoscar on steroids right now. Unreal.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 I think if the Jays can put the final pieces together we are a legit contender within a year or two
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 You would hold Borucki out of the game until the 10th, lol? I'd use him in innings 1 through 6 if it was me!
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Teoscar is on a power tear. He is destroying baseballs. Beisbols are petrified of Teoscar's bat.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Nice grab Grichuk... great ballgame Birds!
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 gg another great offensive night
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 I'd use him in innings 1 through 6 if it was me! Those days are long over. Stop living in the past.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Those days are long over. Stop living in the past. They stretched him out in the summer camp. Those days were literally a month ago! How is it possible you can't consider what he would do as a starter. When he misses, he misses off the plate. He rarely leaves anything over the middle and he has 3 good pitches!
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Teo tied for 4th in MLB homerun leaders

I don’t doubt he could start and be a decent back end option. I question his ability to stay healthy and wonder if its worth streching him out to be a decent 4th or 5th when he can be a dominant reliever right now. The worst fear would be streching him out and he blows his elbow out and we lose him for 12-18 months again. The rotation spot he wants isn’t currently available and will only get more jammed up over time. Hes a reliever now and a good one.

He had bone spurs that they didn't find right away last year and had a procedure to clean that up. 2016 to 2018 he was healthy and pitched progressively more innings each year. When I see Borucki I see a lot more upside than a back end starter. He was pretty good in 2018 and he's a completely different pitcher now. His velocity is up a lot, he has a new cutter/slider and his change up was always a plus pitch. He may have gone from 1 plus pitch in 2018(his change up) to 3 plus pitchers..he could be a very good number 2. Any pitcher is at risk of Tommy John every year. You have to maximize value. His ceiling isn't a number 5. It's much higher.
