Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Crazy that we still have a chance to win this game.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 of course the game they give up 11 is when they start hitting lol
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Can we get Borucki and Hatch loosening up?
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 13, 2020 Author Posted August 13, 2020 I dont hear no fat lady yet
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 of course the game they give up 11 is when they start hitting lol A base running mistake cost us a run and we gave up 5 unearned runs. We should be up in this game easy. Too many mistakes.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Tying run to the plate....come on time for number 101!
43211234 Verified Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Incoming 500 ft bomb by Vlad to take back the lead. Which strikes a change in his season and he has a 140 wRC+ rest of season.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 That never made it close to the plate. Brutal call
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Bad call. Momentum breaking. Damn umps.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 3b Anderson over Shaw X 1000 Vilar is one of the better SS 1B Aguilar is a season removed from 35 hrs Alcantra is really good (COVID) E Hernandez is good and up and coming. Had a small blip last night. Caleb Smith is decent LF Corey Dickerson has been a consistently good bat. They have a LOT of on the cusp or up and coming young players.. Pitchers and positions players. They kind remind me of the Red Sox the year they really sucked, but you could see the talent emerging.. Then the next year they went to the playoffs.. You also could write Anderson is an above average player ss Villar has had 2 above average seasons in his 3000 PA. Has as many below replacement level as he has above average 1B aguilar is over 30 and coming off a below replacement level season Alcantara has outpitched his FIP so far in his career and isn't around E Hernandez projects to be almost average Caleb Smith is turning 30 and has never shown more than being healthy enough to be an innings eater Corey Dickerson is the 2nd above average player and well into decline
TheHurl Site Manager Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 If your looking at current form, no. If you're looking at talent potential I'd say we have 4. Teo, Bo, Biggio and Gurriel I actually give them many more. I am not anti Vlad like most...i just never had him at the same ceiling as most
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Can we get Borucki and Hatch loosening up? Unless they tie this game f*** no. They should not touch a Baseball in a game we are losing.
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Perhaps we underestimated Yamagoochi
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Yamaguchi #1 in our scorecards and #1 our hearts <3
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Perhaps we underestimated Yamagoochi Perhaps, sir.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 When Shun isn't coming in with a runner on 2nd in the 10th inning of a tie game, he's not half bad.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 A line drive bunt. This game has everything!

Ray Verified Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Yamaguchi has actually looked quite good. Hitting 93 mph with his fastballs with a good splitter. When he’s on, he can be good. Unfortunately he’s the type of pitcher who will get shelled when he’s not. Not much room for error.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 13, 2020 Author Posted August 13, 2020 That's gotta be the strangest bunt I've ever seen
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Vlad finally did something, that didnt look particularly hard hit though
Ray Verified Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 That was a very elevated ground ball
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Yamaguchi was the catalyst that this team needed.

Montoyo was putting him in high leverage.
