It might not be the worst move though, Borucki has extensive injury history.

If he can be a 2-3 IP Lefty BP weapon every 3 games that's still very valuable.

Either way, his stuff has absolutely ticked up in the bullpen, which doesn't always happen (see Sean Reid-Foley).

We're also really short on lefthanded relievers, while having a huge waitlist of 6th starter types.

I think he led the team or was tied for QS in 2018. To me a pitcher who gives you a solid chance at a QS every outing in this day and age is more valuable then a lefty specialist if it were and either or scenario..

Right, but he's also never tossed more than 100 IP.

There are real durability and health issues since we drafted him in 2012.

For whatever reason, they don't think Borucki is very good. Someone should explain to charlie Borucki has struck out 9 through 4 innings and only allowed one hit and no runs.

And he fell apart physically after that. Hes not going to a lefty specialist. He’s going to be a great reliever period. The current manager is stupid. The next one will figure it out.

I would be forced to change it to Saveurcki....

I didn't think it was possible to have a worse nickname than Aceucki.

Congratulations.

This is complete and utter dominance from the starters-pitching-as-relievers corps.

Love it

Bodes well for the next few years

If only Montoyo didn’t let Giles throw 15 pitches hurt we might still have him dominating as well.

Hatch is a stud

Sean Reid Foley is done?

We don’t say that name around these parts.

Sean Reid-Foley's stuff hasn't even ticked up in the bullpen. I think it's fair to say we won't be seeing him for a while.

He threw 135.2 in 16, 150.1 in 17 and 174.2 in 18. He had injury issues last year and early in his minor league days. He's still only 26 years old.
