Yeah, I'm wondering why they even offered the prize if they had no intention of delivering it. Seems kind of deceptive. I mean, it was a free contest, but you could have just offered the Lids card which I received instead of two prizes, one of which would never be delivered.

I quote from paragraph 4:

"Responses to posts are still encouraged. However, responses in which you are referencing the poster are not. If you can’t refute the post without any form of personal comment at a poster, do not respond."

 

In some cases, a poster might try to weasel around that by saying "I was mocking the post not the poster" that will just come down to subjective interpretations. As mentioned above on this thread, we know how that's likely to go. Same as any message thread with mods who know all the posters and are biased.
