Yeah this seems like such an easy solution. Jays play the Phillies 6 times and Nats 4 times. Just change it to Nats 7 times and Phillies 3 times. What difference does it make? You can't legitimize something that most don't find legitimate anyway, so just try to cram 60 games in any way possible.

 

If Jays/Nats doesn't happen this weekend, then Manfred does not have a creative bone in his body.

I'm very relaxed and not at all writing off Vlad, but there have been some concerning trends with him that date back to last season. Groundball rate is one and I'd argue strike zone recognition is another.

Can't really say conditioning because Prince Fielder was massive and never had this issue early in his career.

The problem with these low speed pitchers is that once the hitters know you got no fast ball they wait for your low stuff and do damage
