Ex Player Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 From his numbers in minor leagues, we should not expect a lot from his bat Had a decent year in 2018: https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=espina000san
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 The Drury situation is so bizarre how its been weeks with like no information. Even if he tested for Covid its been more than 3 weeks. Makes you wonder if his battle with it went poorly or its something else all together. Lots of people have fatigue issues after contracting covid, he’s probably one of the unlucky ones.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 He destroyed Lowe with splitters that AB.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Splitter looked better in the Lowe AB than it has all game
el duque Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Had a decent year in 2018: https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=espina000san you are right, and he is 25 with potential to improve
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Vlad hits it right at the CF
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Damn Guerrero stung that one. Right at Keirmaer of course
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2020 Author Posted July 25, 2020 Vlad hits it right at the CF XBA on that fly ball .480 93.1mph, 18', 313 ft I'll take it over his grounders any day.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Hopefully the White Sox suck this year so we can pick up Edwin at the deadline.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Its going to be tougher to steal this season for this reason alone. I like the idea by Biggio though.
Ray Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 That was a fantastic AB by Shaw. Down 0-2 and works a walk. Like what I’ve seen from him so far.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Shaw could be a pleasent surprise this year
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 We didn’t score there but considering how much they made him work I will take that. They created something out of nothing when previous Jays teams would have went down in the inning without a whisper of hope.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2020 Author Posted July 25, 2020 The offense looks so much better than last year
Ex Player Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Jeezus that empty stadium looks pathetic. Get some CGI going Sportsnet!
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2020 Author Posted July 25, 2020 Jeezus that empty stadium looks pathetic. Get some CGI going Sportsnet! Would you rather what they did in the KBO?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Jeezus that empty stadium looks pathetic. Get some CGI going Sportsnet! This is what the Trop looks like regardless of Covid.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2020 Author Posted July 25, 2020 Shoemaker running to first makes me really nervous
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Would you rather what they did in the KBO? f***ing Weebs
Ray Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 The offense looks so much better than last year So does the pitching to be honest.
