lol... we'll never know, unless someone quotes it.

The official guides post real weigh-in weights now by rule. The big issue is what was he really last year

He didn't look too bad before he got called up and discovered the pre-game spread.

Oh. If it's legit now then he's 250.

He looks bigger and more muscular to me now

He looks about the same. Even if he lost 15 pounds, guy his size, you'd barely be able to tell that with his clothes off, let alone with a baggy uniform on.

It's possible he lost 15 pounds of fat and gained some muscle too. Who really cares.

What do you mean who really cares, if he lost 15 lbs of fat and gained muscle that would be a huge improvement over what he weighed last year

Vlad should care. The team that is invested in him should care. The fans should stop caring - he's going to be a huge guy, always.

Also it's okay to #PlayFat. Stop body shaming the guy.

Toronto is trying to corner the market on beef. Vladdy, Rowdy, Alejandro Kirk, Alek Manoah, Nate Pearson (give it a couple of years). Travis Shaw has a nice ponch going on this spring. Ryu is a big meaty Korean. There is a whole lot to love in the organization right now.

Having been right behind 3rd base yesterday I can say with certainty he’s lost no weight. Didn’t look bigger either. Status quo. It’s unfortunate though Because if he drops a bit of weight it could make his feet a bit quicker and give him at least an outside shot at not being a 1b bat by Next season. It could end up costing him millions of dollars down the line...though I guess as a guy who’s already set for life that may not factor into his thought process.

I'm sure he lost a few lbs and put on some muscle. If you follow his Instagram you know he's still eating s*** food with his family/friends a lot of the time. Now at least he was working out while doing so.

He looks just as fat as last year which is disappointing but as long as he plays well I guess I don’t care that much. Him continuing to play overweight is just going to move him off Third faster. Not sure if he cares about that though. I assume Travis Shaw is going to be playing 3B a couple times a week anyway.

Vlad can still be an elite fat player, but if he doesn't get in better shape, then his peak/prime won't last very long.

No question he will move off third, maybe as early as 2021, which will benefit the team and Vlad himself most likely.

He only took 2 weeks off after the season ended, he surely turned quite a bit of weight into muscle.

No doubt the body composition has to have improved, but the guy should put more effort into dropping some unnecessary weight than seems to have happened up to this point. With his history of knee trouble already continuing to carry around 250+ pounds on his shorter frame really can't be good for his long term well being, regardless of how he's put together. Reports say he didn't change his diet at all, still the same rice and beans diet as before with an increase in strength and conditioning work. The physical work was a good start, but even a few months on a weight loss specific diet would likely do wonders for him.
