I don’t think vlad is chasing but he might be better taking some strikes that he can’t drive.

 

Honestly though, it just seems like bad luck.

 

He is swinging 95 percent of the time against breaking balls up in the count..most of which are off the plate, he is def chasing more then he ever has. My guess is just typical young player pressing and he will adjust. That last Ab he never got a single pitch in the zone and he stuck out. That's not luck lol.

Where are you getting this info? His MLB experience is as a rookie(this season), what do you mean than ever before?

Grichuk is so frustrating. All he needs to do in that situation is choke up on the bat and make contact, and he'll have an RBI. Instead he takes the biggest homerun cut he can and strikes out :rolleyes:

This is when a strong manager needs to sit Grichuk down and say if I dont see you choking up on the bat in a man at 3rd situation with less than 2 outs, I'm benching your f***ing ass for the next 3 games. And if you whine about that I'll send you down to Buffalo where you can ride that fun, non-airconditioned bus for a week
