I don't think you get it. If Thornton is going to be part of the rotation moving forward, he has to be able to overcome and work through these types of situations. In a year like this one, management has to see what they have in the kid.

Tonight we’re seeing the difference between a bullpen and a blowpen

 

Actually the Jays bullpen has been pretty good on the whole this season but there have been some serious stinkers in there including Law - I've seen enough of this guy for sure.

How is Jansen still on this team. He's hitting .161

Because Jays have to carry at least 2 catchers, and there's nobody in minors who can replace him if he's sent down
