Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Man, they're not chasing those pitches just below the zone at all. Those are good pitches, but not getting a chase. There we go! But that was in the zone.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Author Posted May 15, 2019 I didn't feel like Thornton was missing that badly except for some fastballs which were running away from him but he just couldn't buy that low strike call. Some good pitches, will need to find more consistency next inning.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Author Posted May 15, 2019 It's hard enough to watch regular hitters go up without batting gloves, but for the pitcher to do so is just extra cringy.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 I missed the Vladdy's dinger And finally he's good at béisbol
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 It's hard enough to watch regular hitters go up without batting gloves, but for the pitcher to do so is just extra cringy. Why?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 WTF happened to Jansen's pitch recognition?

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Vladdy has looked excellent the past 3 games.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 111.6 mph on that stinger. Shows as 111.3 for me... Same EV as the donger.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Author Posted May 15, 2019 How much longer are we going to be subjected to Danny Jansen because he f***ing sucks f*** off Jonn.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 How much longer are we going to be subjected to Danny Jansen because he f***ing sucks A long time cause he projects well.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Author Posted May 15, 2019 Man, Jansen is still a work in progress. His defense has been impeccable, he made one small blunder on what was already a tough play. His offense has obviously been very underwhelming but we shouldn't just criticize him for everything. He's made big strides on the defensive end.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 A long time cause he projects well. Oof
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Coach! You're a MLB pitching and hitting coach?! Lol.. Well, you're taught to keyhole 2-0 pitches, especially with the bases juiced and two out.
