And the haters are also watching. So what?

Holy f*** you guys act like Sanchez is a complete tire fire. Even with today's line so far, his stats are more than respectable.

Why are you lumping me in the group that would rather have kept Sanchez over Syndergaard? I'm not one of those people.

I was just quoting you because it set up the comment

His last start was good, so he's building from that and not just today's two innings. Bob just stated that he has huge upside and talent, thus to early to write him off at his age. He's had health issues the past few years, no excuse for his command issues though but there's time to fix that.

Why do you guys hate on him so much?

Today is exactly why it would be premature to completely write him off. He hasn’t been fully fit for a significant period since 2016 and he deserves a chance to show he’s over his fingernail issues.

This is EXACTLY why you don't throw out multiple seasons of information based on two innings.

All trolling aside this has easily been Sanchez's best start of the season and it's not even close. He'll probably walk four next inning to ruin that but if he could keep this going into his next few starts maybe my opinion of him will start to change a little.

Absolutely hilarious seeing a couple of knobs slobber over one of the worst pitcher in baseball only for it to blow right up in their faces.

We’ve all seen Sanchez breeze through 2-3 innings before completely imploding countless times. I still think Sanchez: reliever could mow people down.

Reliever.

Yes, but lets hope the Jays can try and trade him before he's in the pen. Try to market a pitcher, get more value. Common Atlanta, you know you want him!

The exaggeration is strong all around.

The majority don't think he's a complete tire fire. He has tremendous stuff but s*** control and command... So his wonderful raw potential isn't being realized. On the other hand, he does show flashes of brilliance (first three innings today) which seduce the Sanchez lovers into believing he will become what many hope he can be.

The truth is that Sanchez is Jekyll and Hyde. He's Forrest Gump's box of chocolate. He is a marvel in one inning, and a dumpster fire in the next.

xFIP today is 2.15

Doubt he will ever come close to 2016 again tho, loss of velocity and some between the ears issues
