P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Integrity? Over a guy playing as our 25th man in a rebuilding year, lol. Exactly. He will be DFA'd without hesitation when it's time for Biggio or Gurriel, provided Brito continues to suck. He's not blocking anyone.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 But Ross has been preaching he has more upside than anyone he can recall seeing. i don't believe ross actually said that....and do pat and buck actually watch the game....it was 2 and 0 to sogard
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Exactly. He will be DFA'd without hesitation when it's time for Biggio or Gurriel, provided Brito continues to suck. He's not blocking anyone. Yeah, those Hanson and Brito moves were simply trying to find a diamond in the rough, nothing wrong with that. People laughed at him about Sogard and Galvis as well, it's simply depth and hope. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Questioning his integrity? lol... f*** off!
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 it's time for galvis to drop in the lineup

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 I don't recall anyone ever laughing about Galvis. He was always at least fairly decent. There were quite a few, mate. I assumed he was our bench depth, to be honest.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 There were quite a few, mate. I assumed he was our bench depth, to be honest. Hmm. I actually just checked out his Fangraphs page. For some reason I thought he had a better season with the Pad's last year.
Barkerfan23 Verified Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Vlad didnt look too good there at all
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Hmm. I actually just checked out his Fangraphs page. For some reason I thought he had a better season with the Pad's last year. He's likeable(good team-mate) with a good glove and some pop, he should regress, although I hope he doesn't.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 There were quite a few, mate. I assumed he was our bench depth, to be honest. You made a horrible assumption. Comparing Hansen and Brito to Galvis and Sogard is plain retarded.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Author Posted May 5, 2019 So did anyone eat BBQ tonight?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 I would have given Vladdy the green light 3-0.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 You made a horrible assumption. Comparing Hansen and Brito to Galvis and Sogard is plain retarded. Sogard posted a -0.8 WAR in 113 PA's last year. He belongs squarely in the comparison with Hansen and Brito. Galvis probably not (thanks to his durability and defense....he's a career 78 wRC+ hitter).
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 You made a horrible assumption. Comparing Hansen and Brito to Galvis and Sogard is plain retarded. O RLY? You realize I assumed Galvis was bench depth to a healthy Travis and Gurriel right, you know, when he was acquired? I didn't compare them, moron. Both Hanson and Brito made some top 100 prospect listings a few years back, nothing wrong with acquiring them after the fact, you sir, are f***ing retarded.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 I would have given Vladdy the green light 3-0. He looks like 2018 Yandy Diaz so far.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 So did anyone eat BBQ tonight? I'm currently preparing some tandoori chicken. It's going to be the bomb dot com.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 So did anyone eat BBQ tonight? Last night, sorry man.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 So did anyone eat BBQ tonight? I had a hot dog at Costco. Does that count?
King Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 I had a hot dog at Costco. Does that count? There is not much better than Costco dog and fries.

Galvis would probably provide more value than Travis even if the Jays conceded an out every time he came up in the order. You sir are f***ing dumb as f***.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Author Posted May 5, 2019 I had a hot dog at Costco. Does that count? Depends. Do they still have 1$ dogs?

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 For a guy coming up from rookie ball, Luciano has really been fantastic.
