He doesn’t have much to work with. The bench is literally Brito, Hanson, McKinney, and Jansen. Sitting on the bench, McKinney has the highest OPS at .581.

 

I would love it for Vlad to get going in Texas.

I get he’s struggling, but would still swap him with Grichuk so Smoak bats behind Vlad.

YELLOW TOR @ TEX - There's a flash flood watch tonight... which in general isn't great... but despite the flood potential I still think this game plays. Models are keeping the storms away from Arlington, and while pop-ups can be fickle at times, it's a good sign that we will avoid the worst of it. Chance for a delay, but I'm leaning more towards this game playing clean and the storms moving in later (after the game).
