el duque Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Brito is not even a minor leaguer, no clue at bat
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Brito has no clue at the plate...Atkins get rid of this bum.
el duque Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Trade Gurriel for a good outfielder so we can replace Brito
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Chris Bassitt has been excellent.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 103 pitches, 17 swinging strikes for an excellent 16.5%. An insane 18.5 SwStr% on the fastball, 10% on the curveball and 3/8 swing and misses on the cutter/slider. Now show Sanchez's numbers from yesterday and tell me why people s*** on Thornton but have a hard-on for Sanchez.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Now show Sanchez's numbers from yesterday and tell me why people s*** on Thornton but have a hard-on for Sanchez. Sanchez's overall SwStr% was 9.5 lol. An encouraging 17% on the four seam fastball, but none on the two-seam/sinker (29 thrown), 2/18 on the curveball, 1/10 on the change. For a fun added measure, his average EV on contact was 87.7 to Thornton's 83.5, though I will say that I believe both of those are below league average, Thornton's obviously much more so.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Chad Pinder has not had a good game.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Now show Sanchez's numbers from yesterday and tell me why people s*** on Thornton but have a hard-on for Sanchez. You want to get into the psychological tendencies of baseball fans?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 That was uh, an interesting effort from Mark Canha.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Damn had a pitch to nail behind that fastball.

Jaysareus Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Jay's almost conceding the game to Oakland by bringing biagini in
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Jay's almost conceding the game to Oakland by bringing biagini in Yeah, he's looked awful...
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Biagiani is lucky that last out wasn't a home run
