Slade Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 The quality of at bats the last 5 days has gone way up.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Author Posted April 21, 2019 f***, even when we got some good luck we still don't have enough.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 If I'm a manager I'd bench any player that dives running to first base.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 If I'm a manager I'd bench any player that dives running to first base. I wouldn't go that far, but it's not a good thing to do. I would, however, bench any player who makes the "safe" sign themselves on a close play, those guys can f*** right off.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 Poor Jansen keep. At least he's a Catcher.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Author Posted April 21, 2019 Sanchez has been awful again.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 If I'm a manager I'd bench any player that dives running to first base. Robbie Alomar would've spent a lot of time on your bench.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Author Posted April 21, 2019 Really glad Galvis calmed it down and decided to take his sweet ass time, Hanson played that like he thought it was Byron Buxton running down the line lol.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 Sanchez has been awful again. Lmao at this
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 To put it nicely, his command has not been good.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 Buck suggesting that Hanson is anything but terrible. Alright then.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Author Posted April 21, 2019 Lmao at this So you like your starters to have a 4:2 BB+HBP/K ratio?
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 Sanchez back with the Blister s***.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 To put it nicely, his command has not been good. Off speed command 100% as been awful. He has gotten ahead of almost all hitters and just hasnt been able to put hitters away because his curve has been off and his change up too fast today. His fastball has been good and Oakland hasnt v Been able to hit it
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 Hendriks' stuff looks super hitable, so that's good.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 To put it nicely, his command has not been good. Competitive command
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 Hendriks' stuff looks super hitable, so that's good. Apparently Grichuk doesn't agree with me.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 So you like your starters to have a 4:2 BB+HBP/K ratio? That doesnt mean he has been awful. His fastball has been unhittable today. His offspeed pitches resulted in some walks trying to strike batters out. Wasnt his best day but 1 run on 2 hits in 4 innings is not awful

That is decidedly ineffective and entirely indicative of luck, given the score.

Wasnt his best day but 1 run on 2 hits in 4 innings is not awful He's had multiple walks on his fastball, which he also doesn't know where it's going. Having double the amount of walks as strikeouts is objectively terrible and no pitcher will ever make that work successfully. Aaron Sanchez has been bad and he's lucky he still has the lead.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 Watching the hockey game. Why is Sanchez out?
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 Watching the hockey game. Why is Sanchez out? Cause he sucks.

Better than Syndergaard
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 So if you walk 6 and strike out 3, while throwing a no hitter. You f***ing suck and pitched an awful game?
