Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Well this was a fun night for fans of all things Toronto. A Toronto Hat trick Eh!
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 No reason to have Stro pitch the 9th. At all. Luckily he was out by 109 pitches but it’s a 4 run lead and you just burned your best reliever rather than starting the inning with Tepera who was warming up in the previous inning anyway. Montoyo was in the Rays org for that long but resembles Ned Yost more than Kevin Cash. Nice win though. Montoyo sucks. Not impressed at all.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Well this was a fun night for fans of all things Toronto. Yeah, all 4 teams won.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Amusing to see that, after tonight’s 0-4, Khris Davis is hitting .247. Hah!
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Jays refusing to go full tank mode lol We're 3rd in the division now, with the Yankees firmly in our sights. Hey, if we can stay in the pack until some of our young guys get here, you never know what might happen.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Yeah, all 4 teams won. Who is the 4th team?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Who is the 4th team? MLS, TFC Reds
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 MLS, TFC Reds Are we going to count Lacrosse teams next? #@NeedNFLteaminTO
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Are we going to count Lacrosse teams next? #@NeedNFLteaminTO I mean they only sellout 30,000 seats every game. Toronto Rock sellout the ACC, IIRC, why'd you even ask?
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Are we going to count Lacrosse teams next? #@NeedNFLteaminTO Toronto had 8 games to show they wanted an nfl team. It was a resounding no.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Toronto had 8 games to show they wanted an nfl team. It was a resounding no. lol... if Toronto had their own team this city would go bananas', who you kidding.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 lol... if Toronto had their own team this city would go bananas', who you kidding. They'd need to find a way to create legal tailgating - where you can bring your own beer/food. Getting completely shitfaced on their own beer is a major priority for 80% of NFL fans that attend games. If they can't do that, they won't go.

There's no suitable parking locations for tailgaiting in Toronto, legal or not, it's just not a viable thing to expect.
