Hard to say. SRF would probably be one but we don't really have a good comparable to Sheffield. Soooooo...maybe like Pardinho?

Oh and third guy just pick some random shitbag from the bottom of the system

Mmmm. Thanks, interesting. I would think from this board and our fan base that trading SRF would be a pretty big deal and good return for Seattle. I think SRF and Pardinho would be decent for Seattle.

I think the reaction to the Paxton trade was overblown. They got two very decent, very close to ready pitching prospects.

Answer: yes, yes I should

Some gems in there from the usual suspects. Laika has an opinion and all his Beliebers flock to his side. Oops! Some phenomenally bad takes in there, but looks like the people who were very right were:

Queen B

BurlingtonBandit

Oh yeah, and me. I was extremely correct and Walker still hasn't accomplished f*** all in the 2 years since I posted that. You could even say this was robbery by the Mariners. Actually, you'd have to say that because damn, what a goddamn incredible trade it was for them.

I've edited this like 5 million times but props to BB here. He got laughed at by these snarky teenaged punks and his take was pretty much right on the money.

Wrong and total lolcows:

Laika

GD

Org

King

Grant (but he's wrong a LOT so kind of redundant)

Anyone else seeing a pattern here?

So Org, you feel confident enough about this deal to risk looking like a dumn dumn yet again?

So here is my honest assessment. Liked the episode's baseball content as far as talking about the Diaz trade and Jays centric themes.

I still have no idea who Nick is or what value he brought, (not saying he brought anything bad) only that need to share some more info on the hosts. I know the guy is from Peterborough.. that is about it. Need some more stories from the hosts like episode 8, that made it entertaining.. I feel you guys did a really good job bonding and making it relatable in 8, maybe a little step back this one. Seemed a little antiseptic.

I have heard you guys say you are trying to not make it about the board and be a stand-alone show. Fine, but then what is the infatuation with the Orioles and the Hangout?

Back to the Diaz trade: These things don't just happen in vacuum, 99% of the discussion was value on trade- Jays vs Houston. Remember, there are 28 other teams possibly driving up value or competing. I know Kansas City for sure was interested.

I look forward to the Podcasts, so you guys have done well. I enjoy them, I just think you need to let the audience get to know who you guys are a little better and tell more stories.

End goal being, people want to tune in to hear YOU guys talk about baseball, not just baseball talk by a bunch of guys.

Nick is Laika. I think you're right, perhaps we need to have more personal stuff in each show.

We appreciate the constructive criticism. While we like "I like the show a lot!" we know there are areas to improve that maybe we don't see so we really value outside perspectives.

Thanks a lot, man

Trevor Bauer is an obnoxious baby; should I still listen to this one?

I agree with this take. Bauer is a massive attention whore.

No, it's better for you to stay in your protective bubble.

Give me more than 5 minutes notice and you won't have to go with these low budget replacements. Haven't had a chance to listen yet but will on my way home tonight

Loved the episode. Nick sounds more like Boxy than I remember. I had a bunch of comments as I was listening but listened at 3:00 am and have forgot what I wanted to say.

Probably that my Paxton-Morrow comp was on point

it was more like you calling it racist to not pronounce a name as in it's original form...then following up with something like he's obviously not bright. But I wanted an exact quote
