Facts

- Vlad has never had to put an effort into baseball at any level. Daddys Genes and money can only get you so far. He is going to be in for a rude awakening when he gets to the MLB and he has to make adjustments for once.

- His defense is absolute garbage, which will destroy any value he produces with bat. Seriously, his footwork at 3B is terrible and his throwing arm is horribly inaccurate.

- His power is not even close to an 80. Real power prospects like Joey Gallo put up ISO's of .400 while fake power prospects like Vlad barely get over .200. Most of his home runs were off cookie cutter fastballs and get me over sliders, he can only hit mistake pitches.

- He's fat and needs to lay off the ice cream.

 

Therre is a reason Shatkins kept him in the minors all of 2018, and it's not because of service time. They were keeping him in the minors to suppress his trade value, I wouldn't be surprised if they traded him this offseason. It would be smart as his value will likely never be higher.
