Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is the most OVERRATED prospect in baseball

By all accounts, Vladdy jr works very hard on his game. Judging him after such a small sample size is premature. -
One has to divorce the man from the results, I guess. Sure, the economy seems to be OK, but he is such a low life....

I didn't write that I expected them to be poor at hitting, I was just observing how poorly they started the season.

I like how the BJs are approaching the game. Hitting the other way, bunting, taking more pitches. At the beginning of the season I was very worried that the team would be historically poor at the plate, but things have turned around. This team may surprise!

The Blue Jays, fortunately, have deep pockets. But, look at the Rays - they trade away the potential bank busting free agents and stock up. If done intelligently, like the Rays (and to some extent my old Expos) success can be achieved. It would be hard to see Stroman go, however. But, he might allow for the next Vladdy.

I was an Expos' fan all my adult life, but I have to concede that this year's version of the BJs reminds me of my old team. I am warming to them, especially now that Vladdy has joined them. They seem to be a scrappy bunch of guys.
