Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 It's pretty fitting that Chris Sale will get the last out against Machado.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Hey guys, do you think if it's 2 outs when Manny comes up and he swings through strike 3 but the ball get's away a little from the catcher; does he hustle to try and get to 1st in time? I would be more worried if he tries to end Steve Pearces career out of frustration.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 There it is!!! The WS Champion stays in the AL and comes out of the AL East. Let The Off season begin!!!! Countdown clock to Vald jr’s first MLB appearance starts now!
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Take a knee Machado, hell go ahead and take two
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 That's it for the season boys!
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 No Machado, throw the bat, charge the mound to stop the celebration, do something!
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Thanks for the laughs guys, making jokes about Machado is about all I have now.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 By far the best team won, I'm just glad that with Dombrowski the Red Sox won't have this kind of sustained success.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 World Series and pretty much any other away championship wins are always so anticlimactic.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Baseball season is over.......winter is coming. See you next year.

How does it feel?" Tom Verducci with the important questions. Does anyone actually give a s*** about post game interviews? They are so cringy and pointless, probably more there for the ego of the talentless hack with the microphone than anything else. Imo, if they must be a thing, then every single one should be like this:
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 POS Machado rightfully strikes out in the final at bat. Price can't wait to go play some Fortnite

Atlas Verified Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Pearce! NICE!!! Is it me, or did Price look disappointed when Pearce won it?!?!?
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Well they definitely seemed to like Espinal because they pulled the trigger on that well ahead of the Trade Deadline. I hope hes far and away the best offer they got to help the Red Sox a division rival win the World Series. Well they waited an eternity to trade Happ and it cost them. Pearce wasn't a commodity, whether he was traded in June or July, it probably wouldn't have mattered. Toronto Pearce was on the DL more than he was on the field. Couldn't risk that when trying to move him. Boston Pearce was sprinkled with Alex Cora Magic Dust which turns everything into gold, so his body suddenly was immune to injury post trade. The Jays don't have that magic.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Congrats to Boston. They were the best team in baseball all season long.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 MVP to Price? Steve Pearce
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 AL East Stalwarts Price and Pearce Rays to Jays to Red Sox
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 AL East Stalwarts Price and Pearce Rays to Jays to Red Sox Check mate
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Actually Pearce has played for all 5 AL East teams I didn't remeber him being with the Yankees briefly
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 I could not be prouder of Steve. What a great story. Finally gets to play in a part time capacity with his favourite team growing up, destroys baseballs all second half and then not only wins a ring, but gets MVP. Some storybook fairy tale kinda s***. He deserves it for a long and trying career.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 World Series and pretty much any other away championship wins are always so anticlimactic. But we didn't have to see the douchiest fanbase in the world. Hard to believe that the Red Sox were the underdogs in 2 of their 3 series and basically even money in the World Series.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 he's on the wrong side of 30, has back problems and wasn't a top 10 starting pitcher this year Saddle up! Didn't watch the game yesterday as I was working but I saw MGL's tweets today about the Velo and how Kershaw 3rd time through is equal to an average reliever.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Red Sox in 5, make it a 3 year run of the best team winning. why am I so good at this when there is zero money on the line and so bad these days when I wager.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 why am I so good at this when there is zero money on the line and so bad these days when I wager. 1. Luck Or 2. You predict with your brain when you're just predicting, but let your gut change your mind when you're wagering
