Hey guys, do you think if it's 2 outs when Manny comes up and he swings through strike 3 but the ball get's away a little from the catcher; does he hustle to try and get to 1st in time? :D

 

I would be more worried if he tries to end Steve Pearces career out of frustration.

Does anyone actually give a s*** about post game interviews? They are so cringy and pointless, probably more there for the ego of the talentless hack with the microphone than anything else.

Well they definitely seemed to like Espinal because they pulled the trigger on that well ahead of the Trade Deadline. I hope hes far and away the best offer they got to help the Red Sox a division rival win the World Series.

 

Well they waited an eternity to trade Happ and it cost them. Pearce wasn't a commodity, whether he was traded in June or July, it probably wouldn't have mattered. Toronto Pearce was on the DL more than he was on the field. Couldn't risk that when trying to move him.

 

Boston Pearce was sprinkled with Alex Cora Magic Dust which turns everything into gold, so his body suddenly was immune to injury post trade. The Jays don't have that magic.

World Series and pretty much any other away championship wins are always so anticlimactic.

 

But we didn't have to see the douchiest fanbase in the world. Hard to believe that the Red Sox were the underdogs in 2 of their 3 series and basically even money in the World Series.

he's on the wrong side of 30, has back problems and wasn't a top 10 starting pitcher this year

Didn't watch the game yesterday as I was working but I saw MGL's tweets today about the Velo and how Kershaw 3rd time through is equal to an average reliever.
