bzapple Verified Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Those were great takes by Laureano.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Jesus. Like 80 pitches in and hits 100.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 God damn Sweet Lou. Filthy stuff.
bzapple Verified Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 I like the decision to stick with Trivino for Didi. They might need Buchter later in a bigger, "runners on" kind of spot.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Third time through the order for Severino. For as good as he's been he's gotta be on a short leash here.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Let's see which version of Betances we get.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 This is a far better game than the one yesterday.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 This is a far better game than the one yesterday. The NL suxxxxxxxx Also these teams are substantially better than the Cubs and Rockies.
bzapple Verified Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 If Severino was on that short of a leash why even have him start the inning? Now they've just made things harder for Betances.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 If Severino was on that short of a leash why even have him start the inning? Now they've just made things harder for Betances. Aaron Boone is pretty dumn.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 The NL suxxxxxxxx Also these teams are substantially better than the Cubs and Rockies. The thing I'll remember about yesterday's game are the monumental f*** ups by both managers
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 6 outs, 3 K's on 25 pitches, not bad.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Could be the nail in the coffin. lulz @ Rodney.
bzapple Verified Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Leave it to Fernando f***ing Rodney.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Oakland has no chance to win this
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Oakland has no chance to win this That's decidedly not true. But they do have their work cut out for them.
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Boston vs. New York is gonna be LIT
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 The moment Rodney came in you had to know it was over right there. Yankees can beat the Red Sox. Sorry can't hate on the Yanks. They make good trades and develop from within. Everything we want the Jays to become. Don't hate the prototype.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Incredible at bat against one of the toughest pitchers, the A's look cooked here.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 This game's over, can't see Oakland putting up 7.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Friday night vs the Sox should be good.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 At least this game is still better than last night.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Not too happy with the Indians-Astros first pitch at 2pm on Friday.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 That was the most amazing pick I've ever seen
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 That was the most amazing pick I've ever seen That was disgusting.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 I don't think it's emphasized enough the payroll discrepancy in this game. That's not to take anything away from the Yankees, they are a legitimately excellent team built by very smart people, but it sure helps when your top 5 salaried players alone make more than the opponent team's payroll. There's a $100M difference in payroll between these two teams. This year was a huge win for analytics. 5 of the top 10 teams in payroll didn't make the playoffs (with the Giants second in the MLB at a whopping $205M), while two teams in the bottom 10 (Brewers and the A's) did make it with the Rays at the very bottom having won 90 games in the AL East.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 What a horrendous call by the ump, that's unacceptable.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
