BTS Community Moderator Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 I can’t root for a team with a rotation as bad as Oakland’s to make it any further.

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Hmm...Yanks going with Luke Voit over Greg Bird. Voit's bat has been hot this past month so let's see. Not sure which version of Severino shows up tonight?

Not sure which version of Severino shows up tonight? They have to, Bird has been a disaster. The bigger question is Severino over Happ.

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Hurts to say but I'm pulling for the Yanks only because I feel they have a better chance of beating the Bosox.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 I love the A's using the Opener here.
bzapple Verified Member Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 I hope Severino gets bombed and Yankees fans lose their s***.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 You didn't need to capitalize it
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 can anyone share an mlb.tv account?
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Yankees advancing is good for baseball. small market teams advancing is boring as s***.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 You didn't need to capitalize it I'm actually surprised this is the first time you have mentioned this. It's a messed up quirk (learning disability of sorts). I capitalize letters that shouldn't be capitalized all the time (I think it's mostly nouns). I usually fix most of them but around here I know I don't always check. Watching me handwrite something is enough to frustrate anyone, I have to stop and think at letters all the time...not how to spell it but it's like I forget what the letter looks like. Because of this I printed in all capital letters for most of my life. Took going back to school to get me out of it, and the mental blocks are worse than ever. The brain is a f***ed up thing, or it's possible my brain is a f***ed up thing.

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 They have to, Bird has been a disaster. The bigger question is Severino over Happ. Severino has the better peripherals than Happ though. They're likely banking on him regressing to his normal.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 The A's are carrying Edwin Jackson as their only legitimate starter on the roster for this game. I absolutely love that.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Oh f*** off, they would have Dennis Eckersley on the broadcast. Brutal.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 can anyone share an mlb.tv account? http://www.sportshd.me/mlb/563346/h
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Liam Hendriks can't throw a strike.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Does anyone else like Ron Darling?

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Does anyone else like Ron Darling? I've always liked him. He's a bit old schooly but I like his voice and he's got some genuine insights. I love Eck, though. That's probably more unpopular.
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Hendricks not looking particularly good at all. Cant locate whatsoever
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 The first out is the result of a bullet to first on a full count. Yeah this isn't the start that Oakland was hoping for.
bzapple Verified Member Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 I think the most annoying thing about this broadcast is how loud they're making the umpire strike calls.
