The first out is the result of a bullet to first on a full count. Yeah this isn't the start that Oakland was hoping for.

Caught by my boy, gold glover Matt Olson

I too am a big fan. Not as much as my boy Matt Chapman though. This team is full of studs, I genuinely believe they could do very well in a longer playoff series and taking advantage of the Coliseum.

Yeah I don't really understand the "controversy" by going with Severino over Happ. Severino is clearly their ace and he looks filthy today.

Baseball fans are just really dumb.

Filthy sequence to Torres, he didn't stand a chance. Hopefully we get to see a second inning of Trivino.

Trivino is so underrated. He was an absolute joy to own in LoD this season.

"35 stolen bases? That's PATHETIC!"

Lmfao love Eck

Does he remind you of Hawk, is that why you like him? He's unbearable to me but I wasn't a fan of Hawk ironically like some of you guys.

Nah, idk how to describe it. Hawk is a caricature, basically. Eck seems to me like a real dude who just says what's on his mind and he knows a lot about pitching. I'm enjoying the dynamic between him and Darling in this game. Plus, I find him funny.

Trivino brought the filth that inning, the A's need to get something going against Severino somehow. They're probably just hoping he's wild to try to draw a couple of walks and hope for a ball that finds a hole.

Lol the Yankees can f*** off with their posturing. Those were both great calls

E: all three. Like, they were all in the same spot, Wolfe established that it's a ball the first time.
