glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 Is anyone else upset that gibby pinch hit for jansen? I think that's a good example of why hes not as good of a manager for the young players. Let the future of the franchise win a game for you maybe Pinch hit Travis for Upton too. He’s trying to be loyal to all his players which is fine but annoying for a team that is way out of it.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Really nice at bat by McKinney, even though it resulted in an out.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 McKinney and Gurriel with great back to back plate appearances.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 The worst part about this brutal commercial is the fact that they had to pay royalties to use that song.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Did the guy with the stool just clip Grichuk in the head?
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Did the guy with the stool just clip Grichuk in the head? looks like it looks like a broken nose
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 He's got a massive bruise on his nose, damn.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 He took the stool full speed basically, f***. Hopefully no concussion or concussion symptoms.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 ah he ran into the stool the kid had plenty of time to get out of the way, s***
WryNGinger Verified Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Why can't we have nice things?
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 ah he ran into the stool the kid had plenty of time to get out of the way, s*** He was trying to get out the way of Smoak, I don't think it is is fault.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 He was trying to get out the way of Smoak, I don't think it is is fault. Well, a security guard is definitely supposed to be aware of their surroundings. It's kinda in the job description. Clearly an accident though. They'd be smart to build a spring loaded and padded chair right into the wall. As soon as the security guy stood up, it would automatically retract and security could simply jump into the stands.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 He was trying to get out the way of Smoak, I don't think it is is fault. it was a pop up, he had plenty of time to get a long way away
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Just took a look at Rowdy's MiLB K rates, only shows 1 instance of a K rate over 20%. He definitely looks like a tough out / guy that puts the ball in play.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 That security guard is getting fired after this game.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 That was a moonshot by Teoscar, that ball had some crazy hangtime.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 What was the argument there? Ramirez whiffed on the throw, and was trying to save face.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 What was the argument there? Ramirez complained that the throw hit Gurriel, but given that the latter was simply sliding into the bag within the baseline and made no effort to disrupt the throw it doesn't matter if it hits him. That's on Diaz for not making a better throw/getting into better position and Ramirez for not coming up with the ball, it's not like it was some massive deflection.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Give the Security guard a raise, if it were not for him taking out Grichuck, Hernandez would not be in the game😉

I'm not sure it even did hit him, not that it matters.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 I'm not sure it even did hit him, not that it matters. It did, in the replay you could see it clipped his fingers.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Paulino's changeup is pure filth.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Giles' fastball appears to be trending up in his last couple of appearances, more 98s and less 96s.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2018 Author Posted September 10, 2018 Great game... I got my clock, lol.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 Paulino's changeup is pure filth. I really want to see that changeup as a starter. I think he has the stuff to be successful in that role.
