Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Playing the Royals is just an experience man.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 We just need to find a way to draft JJ Goss. Tecret will love his location
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Author Posted August 14, 2018 Haha this is fun. The winner could go so many different ways depending on what happens each at bat
tercet Verified Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Man salvador perez and escobar swinging at so many balls, help me out, and don't swing at balls please.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Ball is really carrying out there tonight
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Gibbons just f***ed up Pendleton from winning as he had 4 categorys out of 6 before he came back out edit: just lost hits To be fair if I had Luis Santos warming up in the pen as my only other option I wouldn’t want to make that move either.
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Author Posted August 14, 2018 Krylian could be in the money if SRF gets the out here and is done for the game
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Man salvador perez and escobar swinging at so many balls, help me out, and don't swing at balls please. Ump has been f***ing him too. Has taken 2 Ks from him
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Duda you *******! That was pitch 93 you fouled off!
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Krylian could be in the money if SRF gets the out here and is done for the game You've got a spreadsheet to show you exactly whats going on i presume
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 94 on the fastball on pitch 96.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Not a bad start for a 22 year old SP green behind the ears in his debut. Jansen's been impressive too.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Ump take a away, Ump gives back.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 The stuff definitely plays in the MLB, if starting doesn't work out I can easily see dominant reliever potential.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 SRF pretty much as advertised: MLB stuff, but the command isn't there yet.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Solid start from Foley assuming he is done. Tough opening opponent. Kansas City just doesn't strike out and has amazing plate dicipline over the years
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Author Posted August 14, 2018 That strikeout just changed the whole board around
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 So, 5 IP, 3B, 3k, 6 hits, 1 HR, 3 ER 97p

Kansas City just doesn't strike out and has amazing plate dicipline over the years I mean the Royals have the second worst offense in the majors, they are not a tough opponent at all.
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Author Posted August 14, 2018 If SRF is done, we have a tie for 1st place. Krylian, bones10, j4l19, abom Krylian had the closest tiebreaker with 93 pitches so he would get the win

I should have taken KC's low K-rate into consideration when making my prediction, but, oh well, still not too bad.

He has plenty to work with. I still think he will be a starter with excellent K rate. Might not be for another couple years but I think he will figure it out.
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Author Posted August 14, 2018 Looks that way. 4 out of 6 All of the guys above had 4

King Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Author Posted August 14, 2018 God me so smart You were 4 pitches or so away on the pitch count from being $100 richer.. It would be funny if he came back out for the 6th.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 I forgot who said it but I remember him being compared to Papelbon a couple of years ago. He's probably destined for the pen but let him fail as a SP first. Hopefully something clicks in a starting role.
