I think you should give it a chance regardless. He sounds like a complete pussy compared to the way he acts on here, so maybe you'll end up liking him better.

Listened to episode 1, good first start.

 

My suggestion is you guys use your Poster names or at least include that in every intro. Your real names don't mean anything to me.. Would like to know who's who on the board instead of having to memorize each real name vs poster name. Keep up the good work!

 

Think Top Gun-- Who remembers Maverick was actually Pete Mitchell, NOBODY!! But we all know who Maverick and Goose were.. Don't even remember Goose's name- RIP

The idea is that we don't want to be pigeon holed into making the show just for the board. It's hard but I even feel like we are going to inside jokes too often. You guys will get them but if we want to expand we can't be board specific. That's why we made the decision to introduce ourselves using our real names.

I think you've got it backwards. This is an example of a family who doesn't know how to pronounce their own ethnic name, has bastardized and Americanized it, and now insists everyone else says it that way. Which is, IMO, a far worse sin.

End of the day, the pronunciation is still incorrect.
