A's have had a rough travel schedule, and Estrada is the type of pitcher that gives the A's problems.

 

I actually think this is a good night to bet the Jays as a dog... Of course the bullpen is a big question mark, but I think it's worth a shot.

I am praying that Loup, and Axford are pulled from the game due to trades.. Morales has to come in and pitch, he Ks the side and we trade him to the Mets for Snydergard. Granderson is traded then Martin is pulled from the game because he is traded to the Yankees who want catching depth. I would have to drink a bottle of Blue Label to celebrate

They could have DH’ed him. And Estrada probably isn’t set to go very deep in this game. I’m shocked hes even starting. He was literally pulled from his rehab start. This seems like a complete dice roll by the Jays that if he has a decent start they might be able to trade him.

Gibbons says he wanted Martin in the two spot because he has high OBP.. Well, if that is the case, hit him lead off.. IMO, he is the worst 2 spot hitter you could possible have. I don't like seeing Martin anywhere above 6. I think he needs to stay in 7 or 8.
